Accelerate enterprise adoption of your sales agents

For engineers and product managers building sales agents, Ampersand’s integration infrastructure makes it easy to build deep integrations with complex CRMs and every tool in the GTM ecosystem.

Use cases

Build enterprise sales agents with the context and access needed to get work done.

Say “yes” to the most complex CRM implementations

Every enterprise configures Salesforce and HubSpot in its own way: custom fields and objects, lead and contact rules, ownership and permissions. Ampersand solves this per-tenant variation with custom object & field support and configurable data schema.

Enable your sales agents to act in systems of record

Agents need more than read access. Ampersand enables bi-directional actions so AI agents and applications can both read context and write data back into the system of record.

Integrate with the entire GTM tool stack

Ampersand supports the ecosystem of sales tools so your agents can execute every step of a job, from sending the email to scheduling the meeting to updating the CRM.

Ensure sales agents can always access critical systems

Integrations break for reasons that are often beyond the control of your engineering team. Ampersand provides protection against the most common failure points.

  • Managed auth

Fully offload OAuth. Ampersand stores and refreshes every customer’s tokens for the scopes you choose.

  • API quota protection

Work around strict CRM quota limits and prevent your integration from accidentally consuming all your customers’ quotas.

  • Schema drift detection

Get notified when fields are created, deleted, or changed in any customer’s CRM, before the change breaks your integration.

“We needed to know the moment someone submitted a form so the right agent could follow up. Ampersand’s Subscribe actions gave us that signal and helped us reach prospects sooner.”

FAQ

Questions from teams building sales agents

  • How quickly can my agent react to changes in a customer’s CRM?

Ampersand is near real-time, meaning your agent can take action immediately when a form is filled out, an email arrives, or a record changes in the CRM.

  • Can one integration serve every customer, with their own custom objects and fields?

Yes. One YAML file defines the cross customer integration. Per-customer mappings are then configured using Ampersand’s prebuilt UI components or headless components.

  • Can Ampersand handle our largest customers’ CRMs?

Yes. Ampersand can handle both the customization and high data volumes of enterprise CRM implementations.

  • Will our integration use up our customers’ Salesforce API limits?

Ampersand’s rate limiter slows down before a customer’s quota runs out so your integration won’t break other tools using Salesforce. Exact thresholds can be tuned at the integration level or at the customer level.

  • What happens when a sync fails or our endpoint is down?

Ampersand retries failed API calls and data deliveries automatically. Notifications tell you when a read, backfill, or subscription fails, and you can choose to route these to Slack or view logs in the Ampersand dashboard.

  • How do we write back without overwriting data our customers trust?

Write actions are defined per field and per customer. This gives you granular control over write actions such as writing only when a record is created, never overwriting an update, filling a field only when it’s empty, or setting a default value.

  • What does building an integration on Ampersand involve?

You declare the integration in an amp.yaml manifest in your repo. Your customers then connect their CRM to your product and map their fields using Ampersand’s embeddable setup UI (all in your company’s style). Ampersand then delivers their data to your webhook or other data destinations.
